REVIEWS FROM THE CRISTICS
Bernie Franco of PEP.ph gave the film a positive review, stating "When The Love Is Gone can hardly be accused of simply riding on the bandwagon because it is a remake of the 1983 Filipino movie "Nagalit ang Buwan sa Haba ng Gabi". He also stated that The twists in the story are definitely something to watch for and these separate When The Love is Gone from other drama movies also tackling the same theme and is worth watching despite the proliferation of movies about extramarital affairs nowadays. He also praised the cast's performance and the film's script.
Pablo Tariman of Philippine Star also gave the film a positive review, stating that When the Love Is Gone is another polished variation of a beautiful love story sensually told with wit and finesse. He also praised Ranay's astounding performance as a director.
However, Phylber Ortiz Dy gave a negative review gave the film 1 out of 5 stars, stating that When the Love Is Gone is all just nonsense. The relationships don't make any sense, and the people do not act like real human beings. He also stated that When the Love is Gone only gets worse in its endgame. There it disregards whatever trauma the characters went through to provide a shade of a happy ending.Nothing really happened. The whole thing was just an exercise in creating scenes where women yell at each other and generally behave badly. It is toxic and hateful and generally just terrible.

One year after the events of The Avengers, Thor battles to save the Nine Realms from a mysterious enemy older than the universe itself. A primeval race led by Malekith, who is out for revenge, intends to plunge the universe into darkness. Confronted by an enemy that even Oslo and Asgard cannot overcome, Thor must reunite with Jane Foster and set out on a dangerous journey that will force him to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Chris Hemsworth as Thor:
The crown prince of Asgard, based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name. Hemsworth stated that the film addresses unresolved issues regarding Thor's relationships from previous films, "For Thor and Jane, there are some unanswered questions now, since obviously he didn't stop in and catch up with her in The Avengers. Thor might have some explaining to do in this one. And with Loki, we get down to the major bones of our conflict with everything that's come from Thor to Avengers to now."Hemsworth added, "Thor’s journey I think picks more so up from where we left the first one – About to take on the throne... and now coming to the realization of what responsibility comes with that. Also, Alan [Taylor] keeps talking about the dark side of that responsibility, and the secrets of being king or becoming sort of very political about what people need to know and what they want to know."
Natalie Portman as Jane Foster:
An astrophysicist and Thor's love interest who is brought from Earth to Asgard by Thor after she is infected with a mysterious energy.Producer Kevin Feige said, "While Thor was a fish out of water on Earth in the first two films (Thor and The Avengers), this time Jane is very much a fish out of water in Asgard."Portman reiterated, "It was a whole different adventure this time. Because Jane is the fish out of water. I didn't want to make it like Bill & Ted, or like a valley girl dumped into Shakespeareland."

Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz) is a young girl in her last 3 months of her senior year in high school. All of her life Carrie just wanted to live a normal life, the life that all teenage girls want. But Carrie's overly-religious, deranged mother Margaret White (Julianne Moore) wants Carrie to live a life free of sin. Margaret abuses Carrie, not only physically, but by locking Carrie in a closet to pray.

One day, after gym class in the school showers, Carrie had her very first period (surprisingly at the age of 17 or 18). Knowing nothing of periods she thinks she's bleeding to death. The other girls laughed at Carrie and teased her by throwing tampons and feminine napkins at Carrie. One of the girls named Chris Hargensen (Portia Doubleday) recorded Carrie with a phone. Chris has always hated Carrie and in fact, hates Carrie the most.

Once Carrie gets home, her mother says that Carrie is now a woman and if she had not sinned, the curse of blood wouldn't be upon her. Margaret then told Carrie to go to her closet and pray, but Carrie refused. Margaret forced Carrie into the closet and locked the door. As Carrie screams to be let out, she makes a crack - in the shape of a line - go down the door. Both Margaret and Carrie are surprised in this, and Carrie finally realizes her telekinetic powers.

The next day, the gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Judy Greer) yells at the girls and tries to make them feel bad about what they did to Carrie. She informs the girls they will have detention for the rest of the week with her. When Chris tells her she wont go, Ms. Desjardin informs her that anyone who doesn't show up for detention will have 3 months suspension and refusal of their prom tickets. Chris, felling like she didn't do anything wrong, doesn't go and plans to get revenge.

Medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone is on her first space shuttle mission, accompanied by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski, who is commanding his final expedition. During a spacewalk, debris from a satellite crashes into the space shuttle Explorer, destroying most of it and leaving them stranded in space with limited air. The debris continues to hit other satellites, causing a chain reaction of destruction until the satellites necessary for the two astronauts to communicate with Mission Control in Houston are also destroyed. Nevertheless, both Kowalski and Stone continue to transmit "in the blind" to Mission Control, in the hopes that Mission Control can hear them, regardless of whether or not they receive messages from Mission Control.

Stone tumbles out of control after separating from the shuttle's cargo bay arm. Kowalski, who is wearing a thruster pack as part of his spacesuit navigates to Stone and retrieves her. The two tether together, and make their way back to Explorer, where they discover the shuttle has been damaged beyond repair, and the rest of their crew are dead. They then decide to use the thruster pack to make their way to the ISS, which is nearby in orbit. Kowalski sets the timer on his suit for 90 minutes, estimating the debris that destroyed Explorer will orbit the Earth and come back around in that amount of time.

Kowalski is ever calm and efficient in the crisis, continuing to reassure Stone that they will both make it back to Earth safely. En route to the ISS, the two discuss Stone's life back home and the death of her young daughter in a schoolyard accident. As they approach the ISS, it is clear that the ISS crew has evacuated due to the debris field causing damage. One Soyuz module for delivering ISS crew and returning them to Earth is missing, used by the ISS crew to evacuate the station. The other Soyuz module has been damaged, and its landing parachute has been deployed as a result. It becomes clear that the remaining Soyuz module cannot return them to Earth safely.

As they approach the ISS they realize they have almost no air left and only one thruster burst remaining in Kowalski's pack. He fires the thruster, and Stone is able to grab onto the ISS, however, Kowalski's momentum pulls Stone away from the ISS, causing her to lose her grip. Kowalski asks Stone about her minimal piloting training, and instructs Stone to use the Soyuz capsule to travel to a nearby Chinese space station. Hopefully she will be able to get help there. Kowalski says that even if the Chinese have evacuated, she can use a return module that is based on the design of the Soyuz, and Stone's limited training will get her home safely. Kowalski then disconnects his tether from Stone, sacrificing himself so Stone can get aboard the ISS safely.
